I just want to extend a big thank you to the members of both the Rangers Supporters Club, Toronto #1 RSC and members of the Celtic Supporters Club – Toronto for your sponsorship in my participation of the Rangers Charity Challenge during the past NARSA Convention in Vancouver.
The Grouse Grind was a true challenge, hiking the elevation 850m in 2.9km (including 2830 stairs) to reaching the altitude of 1,200m at the top and the views were absolutely amazing!!! Then I went to complete the 2nd portion of the challenge with walking the Capilano Suspension Bridge the next day; which again had amazing sights. All those who participated in both challenges had an amazing time and really challenged ourselves. A Big Thank you to Karen Watson (niece of Jim Maxwell, President Toronto #1 RSC) for organizing the challenges for those two days – truly was well worth it!!
Rangers Charity Foundation for the Season 2015/16 is working with Charity Partners UNICEF and Alzheimer’s Scotland and has also announced a special Armed Forces partnership.
Once again, thank you everyone for your support!!!
Vice President – Toronto #1 RSC
