Hi All, The weather today was unbelievable, it was the hottest Feb. 3rd ever and Aberdeen beat Celtic; what a day; but I’m sure it’s going to get much colder again very soon.
I believe this has been our busiest January in a very, very long time, New Year’s Day, Burns Supper, Euchre, Pub Olympics Game Day and two private functions that were very well attended; long may it continue. The two private functions were a birthday party and a fundraiser for a boy that is very ill. The bar takings forth both nights was the best I’ve seen, it’s nights like them the club needs to get by, so if you know of anyone that needs a hall for any special occasion, let them know about our club; you won’t get a better deal anywhere, good prices for drinks and the hall is “FREE” on Saturday nights. See Archie or Dolina if you know of anyone. “BOOK EARLY” to get the date you want. .
Rangers are having a fantastic run, unbeaten in January!, We have played one game more than Hibs and are eight points ahead. Onwards and Upwards!! They have signed a few new players just before the end of January, hopefully they will help us get back to where we belong “THE PREMIERSHIP”.
I would like to wish Fraser Aird all the very best while on load to the Vancouver White Caps. I’m sure he’ll do really well and looking forward to his return to the Glasgow Rangers at the end of the season.
At the Rangers v St. Mirren on Saturday Feb. 27th 10 am kick off we are having a full breakfast, drink of your choice and the game, all for $20.00, we have a sign-up sheet on the notice board at the Club if you are interested. Please sign your name or call and have your name put on the list. It’s always been a great morning, so don’t miss out..
